What to Expect When You Book With Us

Drop-off is available Tuesday through Friday between 7:30 and 10:00 AM, and Saturday between 7:30 and 9:00 AM. All pets must be picked up before closing Tuesday through Friday at 5:30 PM and Saturdays at 2:30 PM. If you have a specific pick-up time in mind, just let us know at drop-off and we will do our best to accommodate you.

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Late cancellations and no-shows will be subject to a $25 fee that must be paid before your next appointment can be scheduled. In cases of emergency, that fee is always handled with understanding.

Pricing, Breed, and Coat Questions

Base prices vary depending on your dog's size, breed, coat type, and the service selected. Here is a general starting point:

  • Bath & Blowout: Small dogs start at $30, and large dogs start at $50.
  • Bath & Tidy Trim: Small dogs start at $65; large dogs start at $85.
  • Bath & Full Haircut: Small dogs start at $75; large dogs start at $130 for most full-size doodles.
  • Add-ons such as de-shed treatments, medicated baths, and nail grinding are available.

All prices are subject to change based on coat condition, length, and the time required to complete the service safely.

Vaccine and Health Policies

An up-to-date rabies vaccine is required by law for all dogs. Puppies must have at least two DHPP shots before their first appointment. If your dog is immunocompromised, please inform our staff in advance, as a veterinarian note may be required.

We do accept females in heat, though we recommend waiting at least one week after active bleeding has stopped. An additional fee applies if your pet is currently in heat and actively bleeding due to the extra sanitation measures and added stress it can place on other pets in the facility.

Senior Dogs and Special Needs Pets

We are experienced working with senior dogs, anxious pets, and those with medical conditions. Some older dogs may no longer tolerate force drying, so we may switch to towel drying and send them home slightly damp for their comfort and safety. If grooming appears to be aggravating an existing condition, we will end the appointment early and contact you right away.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pet Grooming Policies and Pricing

  • How much does a full dog grooming appointment cost ?

Full haircuts start at $75 for small dogs and $130 for large breeds or doodles, with pricing based on size, coat, and style. Additional fees may apply for matting, fleas, or heavy undercoats.

  • How often should I bring my dog in for grooming?

Short-haired breeds do well every six to eight weeks, while curly or double-coated breeds may need grooming every two to six weeks. Nail trims are recommended every two to four weeks.

  • What happens if my dog has a biting history?

Please let us know upfront, as we are experienced with difficult pets and are willing to work through the process with you. If a pet poses a danger to itself or others, the appointment will be ended and you will be contacted immediately.

  • Do you require vaccines before a grooming appointment?

A current rabies vaccine is required by law, and puppies must have at least two DHPP shots. Core vaccines are recommended for all dogs but are not required for adults beyond the rabies requirement.

  • How long will my dog's grooming appointment take?

Timing depends on your drop-off time, your dog's coat and temperament, and whether any extra steps are needed. Special needs pets, seniors, and young puppies tend to take priority to keep their experience as calm and efficient as possible.
